National Oatmeal Month

Did you know that January is National Oatmeal Month?  I didn’t until yesterday when I was reading an article about healthy breakfast foods.  I wonder why January is the month that was named?  Maybe because January is smack in the middle of the winter and Oatmeal seems to warm the bones.  At least it warms my bones!  It’s comfort food for me!

A few benefits of Yoga!

Have you ever tried yoga?  You know, in today’s world where most of us are sitting at computers, driving, cooking and cleaning, we are bound to feel an increased level of stress, have poor posture and flexibility, and feel un-centered and distracted.

Yoga has been around for over 5,000 years.  Isn’t that something?  And almost 11 million Americans practice yoga and are finding great health benefits to it.
